TO CARE
Although specialized in raptors, the CRR extends its care to all wild fauna. After collaborating for several years with the Geneva CCO, it has now opened its doors to all wild animals in our regions.
TO RELEASE
The CRR has the largest flights tunnels in Switzerland. Their lengths ranging from 36 to 50 meters make it possible to observe the flight capacity of the birds before releasing them.
ABOUT
The CRR is the largest raptor rehabilitation center in Switzerland.
It is governed by a non-profit association whose mission is to care for and release raptors and other birds, as well as all wild animals, in their natural environment. It works in particular with the CCO Geneva (Center de Coordination Ouest for the study and protection of bats), as well as with wildlife guards, SOS-Hedgehogs and other organizations working for the protection of wildlife.
The founder of CRR, Ludovic Bourqui, is a man passionate about the world of birds and raptors. For more than 10 years, he worked as a volunteer and manager in an ornithological center, specializing in the care of aquatic birds and raptors.
The CRR sincerely thanks the foundations and Communes for their precious support.
